We do not mean cute kinds found in your garden, but the ones that exist on webpages due to peculiarities in HTML and PHP code and the browsers that you use to surf the Internet. The ones we know of are below, and there are ways around them while we're still trying to get rid of them altogether:

1 - The drop down menu does not work when I'm viewing or sending a card image. We love our drop down menu, unfortunately, Internet Explorer does not like it as much. We've struggled to get our dropdown menu working on our pages where you're viewing or sending a card, but the special code needed to get the dropdown menu working in Explorer does not want to work with our ecard code. This is peculiar only to Explorer.

Evasion strategy: If you need to view something from our dropdown menu, you can do this from most of our other pages on the site. Our dropdown only stops working when you're trying to send a card or trying to view a card in Explorer. Also, you can still access any top-level choices in the bar menu.

Evasion strategy, Plan B: Get Firefox. It's a highly recommended browser anyway. Safer for your computer system, and free!

1 - Strange characters appearing sometimes in card text you've chosen for your card. When you've spotted a cool quote, story or earth fact and click on "Use this text for my card", the card text you've chosen appears at the top right of the page, indicating this is the your current card text. As you surf around, any apostrophes or quotation marks in the card text become garbled characters.

Evasion strategy: This bug appears only when switching between the pages "Ecards Home" and any other page where you're browsing the image or text categories. If you chose your current card text from a category page, the garbled characters only appear when you're on Ecards Home page. So go back to a category page and send your card from there. If you chose your card text from Ecards Home, go back to Ecards Home and send your card from this page.
